Because it is a unique opportunity for stakeholders of the oil sector linked to Latin America and the Caribbean to meet, both as regards issues related to upstream, downstream, gas and energy, biofuels and other renewable energies, and all those issues related to the management of energy companies. There will be keynote addresses, plenary sessions and strategic sessions covering a wide range of topics of interest to the industry with the participation of top international exhibitors.

Who organizes the conference?

The event is organized by the Regional Association of Oil, Gas and Biofuels Sector Companies in Latin America and the Caribbean (ARPEL). The association was founded in 1965 by a group of national oil companies in Latin America with a primary focus on mutual assistance. Later, the geographical coverage was expanded to include the Caribbean. In 1990, membership was opened for international oil and gas companies operating in the region, and in 2010 extended to include companies providing goods and services to the value chain of the industry.

Today, ARPEL gathers a wide group of companies and institutions of the oil, gas and biofuels sector, representing over 90% of the upstream and downstream operations in the region. The main purpose of ARPEL is to promote industry integration and sustainable energy development in the region through its representation, activities and services.
